The Role

We are seeking a dynamic educator to join our Primary Department. The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Core Curriculum: Delivering high-quality lessons in English and Mathematics, ensuring students secure the essential literacy and numeracy skills required for Key Stage 2.
• Topic-Based Learning: Teaching Science and foundation subjects (such as History, Geography, and Art) through engaging, thematic units that inspire curiosity.
• Pastoral Care: Managing a Year 3 class, supporting students’ social and emotional well-being as they transition from the Infant (KS1) to the Junior (KS2) stage of the school.

Person Specification

• Qualifications: A Bachelor’s of Education (B.Ed) or a relevant Bachelor's degree with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS) from the UK or Ireland.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of teaching experience is required, preferably in the UK.
• Curriculum Knowledge: Proven experience teaching the UK National Curriculum (Key Stage 2) is essential.
• Attributes: We are looking for adaptable, resilient, and good-humoured individuals who are willing to contribute to the school's extensive extra-curricular and sports programmes.
