Responsible to assist lead AC/Refrigeration technician with equipment and repairs for both Malacate and Harvest Caye facilities.

 

 

NATURE AND SCOPE

Duties are to be completed in a timely manner.  Position requires ability to adjust to changing supervisor directions at a moments’ notice, depending upon the needs of the supervisor or other management. The incumbent must be able to work in a multi-cultural environment; also, must be able to adjust to changes in assignments, work areas and schedules.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with weekly/daily inspection of AC/Refrigeration equipment at the facilities.
  • Works closely with facility Ops team and or as needed by other department(s).
  • Assist with maintaining updated daily logs/service repairs.
  • Keeps an accurate log of repairs needed and complete list of each equipment.
  • Assist with daily inspections of equipment to make sure they are functioning.
  • Assist with notifying lead AC/Refrigeration tech. of any equipment needing attention/repairs.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • Work order request must be responded promptly and professionally according to working schedules and business priority.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor/manager from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
  • Adheres to all behavioral, safety and policies for the employee and keep management updated of any issues that affect operations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed. Must be familiar with the Safety and company policies.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in related field.
  • Licensed/certification in AC/Refrigeration a plus.
  • Electrical license a plus.
  • Valid driver license.

 

EDUCATION

  • High School diploma.
  • Advanced verbal and written level of English required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • While performing the essential functions of this job, all team members are required to stand; walk short distances; use hands to touch, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.  Positions may require repetitive motion of bending, climbing, going up and down stairs and lifting more than 25 pounds.
  • Work within different temperature changes—indoors to outdoors.
  • Able to pass basic safety course.
