Under the supervision of the Chief Information Officer, the Administrator performs corporate administrative support functions in the Chief Information Officer’s office.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receives, records and logs all incoming correspondence and forwards to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for action;
  • Produces minutes of the Senior Management and Executive Management Divisional meetings and follows up action items;
  • Collates Divisional Reports for CIO’s office; 
  • Creates and maintains filing system for the CIO’s office;
  • Maintains and updates corporate records;
  • Drafts letters, reports, minutes, agendas, and general correspondence with high levels of accuracy;
  • Receives and escorts visitors in a timely and professional manner;
  • Responsible for screening and managing calls directed to the CIO’s office;
  • Submits approval and sign off through the CIO to the respective Committees via round robin;
  • Maintains the CIO’s outlook calendar prioritizing meetings and appointments;
  • Consults with Divisional Directors and internal stakeholders as required.

 

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Management, Public/Business Administration, or related discipline, with a minimum of two (2) years’ working experience in administration, or
  • Diploma/Associate Degree in Public/Business Administration, or related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in administration.
  • Certified Administrative Management qualification (Level IV)
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
