AVP - Banking Centre Manager

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the banking centre and providing leadership and direction to all staff.
• Achieving individual and branch sales goals through new business sales, referrals, and retention of account relationships.
• Developing a proactive, customer-focused branch team.
• Monitoring performance against plans and budgets.
• Participating in the development and implementation of new products and services.
• Managing staff levels and ensuring that staff are properly equipped and trained. 
• Remaining active in all staff administrative functions, including recruitment, performance appraisals, and disciplinary issues
• Identifying training and development opportunities for key staff.
• Ensuring adequate controls are in place to contain potential operational and credit risks.
• Managing work-flows to achieve maximum efficiency, productivity, and minimum overtime.

Your qualifications and skills include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent qualification and five years of managerial experience, or 10 years of managerial experience. Experience should preferably be within a financial institution.
• Thorough knowledge of banking operations, retail banking products, and financial management accounting principles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A proven track record in managing people.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Problem-solving skills.
