This role focuses on Electronic Banking relationship management for Corporate Banking clients, bridging the gap between digital products and client needs through technical implementation and strategic growth.

 

Client Relationship Officer

Reporting to the Manager of the Electronic Banking department, the Client Relationship Officer is responsible for assisting the department to position Butterfield’s Electronic Banking Channels, to ensure that we remain competitive in the Cayman market by providing our Corporate Banking clients with online banking administration support.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • managing Electronic Banking relationships with our Corporate Banking clients by;
  • ensuring that service level agreements between the Electronic Banking department and the Corporate Banking department are adhered to
  • performing demonstrations of Butterfield’s online platform to Corporate clients
  • meeting with Corporate clients to ensure that their needs are being met, and providing training and guidance where required
  • ensuring that accounts are enabled for the Butterfield Online internet banking platform, and that they are set up accurately and in a timely manner
  • assisting the Corporate Banking department to achieve online banking penetration rates to increase electronic transfer volumes
  • assisting with the processing of online applications for both Retail and Corporate clients
  • performing product analysis of Butterfield’s online product offering within the Cayman market.

 

About the team

At Butterfield, our Electronic Banking team enables our clients to conduct banking transactions without having to visit one of our Banking Centers. This includes ATMs, online and mobile banking, whilst also offering e-commerce solutions to both local and international merchants, including the provision of multi-currency online merchant accounts for the receipt and processing of payments. Your qualifications and skills include:

  • high school diploma, with three years’ relevant work experience
  • sound working knowledge of MS Office suite of products; especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • excellent presentation and communication skills
  • self-motivated with the demonstrated ability to work effectively alone and as a team member within a very demanding work environment
