The incumbent plans and executes project activities and budgets, manages stakeholder relationships, conducts community awareness campaigns, and facilitates training programs to achieve project objectives and participant development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan project activities to achieve the expected results.
  • Develop a detailed implementation plan, defining timelines, resources, key milestones and responsibilities to ensure that all activities are aligned with project objectives and donor requirements.
  • A clear and achievable roadmap that guides the implementation of the project and ensures that deliverables are completed on time.
  • Execute the budget while ensuring maximum efficiency in achieving the expected results.
  • Oversee project expenditures, monitor spending trends, and ensure financial compliance. Identify areas where costs can be optimized while maintaining the quality and integrity of project deliverables.
  • Efficient use of financial resources, ensuring good value for money and transparent financial management.
  • Establish cooperative relationships with key project stakeholders
  • Collaborating with schools, local authorities, NGOs, private sector partners and community leaders to foster strong partnerships and promote common ownership of project objectives.
  • Sustained collaboration and commitment from stakeholders that strengthen the success and sustainability of the project.
  • Conducting awareness-raising activities at the school and community levels
  • Plan and organize workshops, campaigns and community events that promote environmental protection, recycling, green economy principles and the creation of school and family gardens.
  • Increased environmental awareness and adoption of sustainable practices within schools and communities.
  • Implement the Impact Methodology program (or similar)
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops using participatory learning approaches to ensure that all participants achieve the learning objectives and skills targeted by the program.
  • Participants acquire key skills in the areas of daily life, social relations and technology, in line with the program's objectives.
  • Prepare and develop the planned learning sessions for each module.
  • Design interactive lesson plans and teaching materials adapted to the participants' context, ensuring that each module conforms to program standards and participants' needs.
  • Well-prepared and engaging training sessions that improve learning effectiveness.
  • Advise and supervise the development and participation of each participant.
  • Provide personalized guidance, mentoring and ongoing assessment to participants, identifying individual challenges and supporting their continuous improvement.
  • Active and motivated participants demonstrating measurable personal and professional growth.
  • Promote group cohesion and the values ??of the Youth Ready program.
  • Encourage teamwork, respect, inclusion and leadership within the group while embodying and reinforcing the core values ??of the Youth Ready program.
  • A supportive and collaborative learning environment where participants embody the Youth Ready principles.
  • Ensure that children's motivation and participation are maintained throughout the process.
  • Use attractive methodologies and creative tools to maintain the interest, diligence and level of participation of children and young people.
  • High motivation and retention rates throughout the training cycle and project.
  • Translate or coordinate the translation of project documents .
  • Ensure the prompt and accurate translation of documents, reports, communications and information between English and local languages ??to facilitate understanding by all stakeholders.
  • Accessible and accurate project documentation for all internal and external audiences.

Coordinate project-related acquisitions

  • . Manage procurement processes, from needs identification to ensuring compliance with donor and organizational standards, while respecting deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Prompt and compliant delivery of goods and services necessary for the successful execution of the project.
  • Document progress and prepare reports reflecting achievements and lessons learned .
  • Collect and analyze data, track performance indicators and prepare comprehensive progress reports that highlight results, challenges and best practices.
  • High-quality reports that demonstrate accountability, inform decision-making, and report on the project's impact.

 

Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to coordinate projects
  • Knowledge in the field of education
  • Knowledge of community environmental education.
  • Ability to establish relationships with different audiences and social sectors.
  • At least 3 years of experience in implementing community projects.
  • Experience in NGOs, responsibility, reporting, etc.
  • Facilitating relationships in community processes
  • Professional in the field of agronomy or a related field.

 

Skills/abilities

  • Proven ability to lead diverse and multi-sector teams.
  • Skills in planning, analysis and problem-solving.
  • Communication (Spanish, French/Creole).
  • Ability to navigate in complex cultural and operational contexts
