The position reports to the Vice President, Trust Services and is responsible for providing Trust administration support to the Trust Services Team and administering less complex Trusts.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and prioritising daily workload in order to ensure all transactions are completed within agreed deadlines.
  • Managing client relationships to maximise client service satisfaction through consistent, accurate and timely service delivery and good customer communication.
  • Processing, reviewing and monitoring diverse transactions, which may include security trading, multi-currency exchanges and the acquisition and disposal of real or other assets with supervision.
  • Reconciling cash and fund positions.
  • Ensuring that transactions are compliant with Agency Agreements, Trust Deeds and internal policies and procedures.
  • Solving problems/issues and advising manager. Refining processes and making suggestions for new working practices.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is filed promptly and correctly.
  • Meeting clients and client advisors and assisting on general administrative matters.
  • Ensuring records of system are kept up-to-date including, but not limited to, NAV and iManage.
  • Ensuring adherence to GMS and local and international statutory requirements.
  • Knowledge of FATCA, CRS and Economic Substance requirements.
  • Travelling with a Senior member of the team for client meetings as needed.
  • Assisting with the training of Trust Administrators.
  • Any related duties as assigned by management.

 

Your qualifications and skills include:

  • University degree and three years’ relevant experience or equivalent in Trust Administration, Law, Accountancy, Investments or Banking.
  • Commitment to pursue STEP designation.
  • General understanding of Trust and/or Banking principles and procedures would be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written.
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability work on own initiative.
  • Ability to identify potential risks both in file administration and processes.
  • Ability to approach issues in a methodical manner and be able to communicate your findings clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to identify options and possible solutions to work toward the next course of action.
