We are seeking a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant to provide essential support in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role involves assisting in sales and marketing, customer service, coordinating facility-related needs, handling administrative tasks, inventory tracking and management and participating in order picking and packing to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Assist the sales department with order processing, preparing quotes, and updating customer records
- Communicate with warehouse staff regarding order status, inventory levels, and shipping schedules
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on sales orders and shipping instructions
- Coordinate facility needs such as equipment maintenance, supply restocking, and scheduling service providers
- Handle general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, photocopying, and maintaining documentation
- Track and file delivery and shipping paperwork; ensure compliance with internal procedures
- Answer phones, direct inquiries, and support walk-in vendors or service personnel
- Support purchasing and inventory control documentation as needed
- Picking and packing small orders as needed
- Support and assist Management in operations/sales/marketing needs
Qualifications:
- Previous clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse setting in a plus
- Experience with order picking and packing in a warehouse environment is a plus
- Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software is a plus
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required
