The incumbent provides comprehensive accounting support by managing bank reconciliations, maintaining the payroll and pension databases, and performing general ledger analyses to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The incumbent supports the Internal Audit function by conducting risk assessments, operational audits, and compliance reviews in accordance with the FAA Act, while assisting in the development of audit strategies and quality assurance programmes.

The incumbent conducts internal audits and special investigations to evaluate financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and legal compliance, recommending corrective actions to improve internal controls and organizational performance.

The incumbent manages financial records and reporting by performing bank reconciliations, maintaining fixed asset and investment schedules, and processing payroll and invoices to ensure FAA Act compliance and clean audit opinions.

The incumbent evaluates financial transactions and auditing processes to identify regulatory deviations and recommend corrective actions while ensuring internal systems effectively support the Commission’s mission and legislative mandates.

The Forensic Accountant is responsible for the effective and efficient achievement of the Entity’s Financial Investigation Objectives in order that the Integrity Commission achieves its Mission and Vision in a sustainable manner.
