The incumbent is responsible for providing legal advice and opinions, as well as drafting legal documents on matters involving the Secretariat as well as administrative functions as they relate to the legal work of the organisation.

The incumbent manages pharmacy operations and staff, monitors stock security and storage, interprets prescriptions, counsels patients, reviews clinical studies, conducts budgetary drafting, and advises medical personnel on drug information.
The incumbent dispenses medications, reviews patient records for drug interactions, manages drug requisitions, maintains controlled substance records, compiles statistical data, counsels patients, and monitors stock for spoilage.
To provide quality Pharmaceutical care services to all patients in a timely, efficient and effective manner and to establish, implement and update policies, procedures and operations to ensure a high quality of Pharmaceutical care.
To assist with the smooth and efficient functioning of the Pharmacy Department by providing support and assistance to the Pharmacist and patients, ensuring that all parties are provided with a high quality of service and health care.
To perform professional duties relating to medical equipment management throughout the Authority so as to facilitate the achievement of operational goals and objectives in accordance with International safety standards.
To perform a variety of increasingly complex and specialized technical tasks in connection with installation, maintenance, calibration, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and management of Biomedical equipment throughout the Authority.
