Hillside Health Care International is a non-profit collaborative health clinic located in the Southern Toledo district of Belize. Hillside is a multidisciplinary primary care clinic, providing therapy, medicine, nursing, public health, and pharmacy services. Hillside provides home health services to homebound members of the community, mobile clinic into remote villages, and a primary clinic.
In addition to health services, Hillside provides year round global health experiences for students from all over the globe in the professions of physical therapy, medicine, PA, NP, pharmacy, and public health.
The Medical Director is a full-time position that reports to the Executive Director. The Medical Director has primary responsibility for the provision of patient care and the educational program for Medical, Physician Assistant, and Pharmacy students. This position works in close collaboration with the Clinic Director regarding all aspects of the provision of services, clinical, and educational programs. The Medical Director maintains a supportive, professional, and collaborative leadership role with all other Directors, volunteers, staff and Board of Directors.
