The Staff Accountant performs professional accounting work in support of the day-to-day operations for BTVI’s Business Office functions of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, General Ledger, and Financial Management reporting.
The incumbent protects organizational personnel and physical assets, monitors premises and access control systems, conducts regular security patrols, enforces visitor management protocols, and prepares daily security logs and incident reports.
The incumbent oversees the technical design, administration, and disaster recovery of mission-critical enterprise systems and networks, leads system implementation projects, manages upgrades and OS patching, and provides technical mentorship.
The incumbent manages the CBDC platform upgrades, leads interoperability initiatives with government digitization programs, oversees vendor deliverables, and establishes technical standards and documentation for system participants.
The incumbent provides general administrative support and operational coordination, assists with risk management, coordinates meetings and documentation, and maintains the department's web and intranet pages.
The incumbent oversees financial accounting and control processes, manages budgeting, payroll, and staff benefit funds, directs goods and services procurement policies and governance, and supports department management and staff development.
